Photographer's Note

Here we have a general view of the Orange River (named Garip too), it is the largest river in South Africa and Namibia. Its waters brought diamonds from eastern Africa to Atlantic during thousands of years and the ocean put them in the beaches of Namibia. Here we can see part of the lodge where we were. In the other edge of the river is South Africa.

Temos aqui uma vista geral do Rio Orange (também chamado de Garip), é o maior rio sul-africano e namibiano. Suas águas vem há milênios trazendo diamantes do leste africano e os atirando no Atlântico que os joga nas praias da Namíbia.
Vemos aqui uma parte do alojamento onde estávamos, o outro lado do rio é território sul-africano.
