The Quiver Tree Forest (Kokerboom Woud in Afrikaans) is a forest and a well-known tourist attraction of southern Namibia. It is located about 14 km north of Keetmanshoop.
It comprises about 250 specimens of Aloe Dichotoma, a species of aloe that is also locally known as "quiver tree" (Afrikaans: kokerboom) because bushmen use its branches to make quivers. The forest is spontaneous; the tallest quiver trees are two to three centuries old. The forest was declared a national monument of Namibia.

Je crois que je préfère encore plus celle-ci que la précédente qui était déjà magnifique. Superbe photo!

A beautifully composed image looks more like a painting. Great work.

When visiting Namibia, I was not going there and it is a pity because I see now all the photo potential.
Those trees are great to be managed as you did at sunset in silhouette.

Fantastic image. Great combination of contrast and tones of orange color. Also beautiful textural detail of kokerbooms.

love this! An almost stencil effect but it works superbly. Would make a magnificent poster shot to advertise Africa or perhaps The Jungle Book. Glorious colours and sharp detailing make this so artistically magical. Excellent!

You had a very good idea using the outlines of these trees to take this beautiful sunset shot. Excellent warm colours in the sky.
Have a nice week end,
