Can you see a woman's head in the low left corner?
she has her eyes closed, a thin line of eyebrow and a nose, Gorgon hair scattered on the ground...
She is dreaming of Rain, she's been waiting for him for so long, she is crying...
Her name is Kalahari.

Regarding geographical position: I have to confess I simply guessed the state Hardap. I have no idea what we were flying over when I took this photo. Somewhere in the southern Namibia. But does it really matter?? :)

hi Olga,
I would never have guessed that this is the desert from above, it certainly looks like a painting, Modigliani may be... very unusual photo, and very beautiful, I really like the pastel colours and delicate lines. thanks for sharing :) the only thing I'm not sure about is the frame, it feels as if it reduces the contrasts in the photo, but I guess it's a matter of personal taste.
