[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A photo of Helim dune, at the entry of the natural park of Sossussvlei in the Namib desert.
The climbing of this dune was done at sunset to enjoy the light but also mainly to get smaller temperature.
It is a little difficult to walk on this dunes as the sand makes you slide: 2 walks up and 1 walk down.

An unusual composition that presents the faces of the desert in contrasting color and terrain. Fine pov and the effect of the soft light. Regards,

I think I see some tracks on the right side of the dune. Your effort to get up there paid off big. The view and the colours are beautiful. Well composed with good soft light to enhance the colours of the sand. Very nice work Yves.

A very dramatic image of these sand dunes. I like very much the contrasting colours which are very well brought out and the steep curve of the dune as it goes round to the left of the frame. Very good work, well worth the effort.

quelle beauté cette vague de sable, cette dune fait une merveilleuse courbe, avec une arrête dosrsale et des jeux d'ombre et lumière, une trés belle composition.

i like the cool soft light giving the perk to the natural colors of the dunes and the sand on the BG. the shadows make it more pleasing to look at not to mention the excellent composition.
