| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
It's midday and there are almost no shadows it's very hot, but I think that this big dunes give always a big emotion for the lovers of the desert.
--
The most spectacular way to reach Sesriem, the gate to entry the Namib desert, from Windhoek is via C26 an then via D1275 by the Spreetshoogte pass. It takes 6 hour drive.
From Sesriem is easy to go toward Sossusvlei with the car for about 65 km where there is a parking area.
On this road you con see huge dunes and the famous Dune 45.
From here is possible drive to Sossusvlei only by your own 4x4 car or by a shuttle big jeep 4x4.
An interesting alternative is go walking for about 4-5 km. |
