Photographer’s Note

Sossusvlei - the Namib desert's pearl for tourists.
Early in the morning there are numerous tracks on the sand as a huge herd of antelopes has passed this place.
Probably, there was no wind at night and maybe a night before too, and the tracks from previous days have stayed adding to new ones. Still..
And a poor dune at sunrise starts its working day: as a horse in the carousel, it has to carry tourists till sunset when the park closes.

Hi Olga, funny note, i like how you wrote it, for sure that place is a pearl for tourists. I've seen a lot of picture from namib desert and it's really photogenic and for sure strong memories !
Technically your picture is perfect, contrasts and coloring are on top, saturation level is good, sharpness very nice, yes i do love that one, i would have perahps liked to see "something human" in the compo.

the shapes of this landscape and its colors are perfect. compo, Light and pov too are fantastic. Congratulations. I was thinking about to know Namibia in the next years. Did you take a tour inside one of that special trucks ? I read about them but I am not sure if it would be nice.

Très belle photo . Les couleurs sont bien sur superbes . Mais egalement la composition avec le contraste entre la zone pietinée , la zone ridée sous les buissons et la dune en arriére plan .
