Red dunas of Namib Desert in sunrise's light...

Information from Wikipedia:
The Namib Desert is a desert in Namibia which forms part of the Namib-Naukluft National Park one of Africa's largest. The name "Namib" is of Nama origin. The desert occupies an area of around 50 000 km², stretching some 1,000 miles (1,600 km) along the Atlantic Ocean coast of Namibia, which is named after this desert. Its east-west width varies from 30 to 100 miles (50-160 km). The Namib Desert also reaches into southwest Angola.
Sossusvlei is famous place in the heart of the Namib Desert; it is a huge clay pan, enclosed by giant sand dunes. Some of the spectacular hills of sand are, at a height of 300 metres, the highest in the world.

very good picture. I like its composition, just "shadow" of walking man. Perfect colours and sharpnes.

Excellente composition avec cet humain perdu dans les dunes et qui donne une bonne idée du gigantisme du paysage. Les courbes formées par les dunes et les couleurs sont superbes.

Cze¶æ! Bardzo ³adne zdjêcie z tym cz³owieczkiem. I jaki piasek. Na takiej pustyni by³em na Synaju i w Abu Simbel w Egipcie. Pustynia ko³o Hurhady czy te w Maroko s± ju¿ zupe³nie inne. Ciekawe zdjêcie.

I really like the colors of the sand here.
In my house I keep a small container with sand of this area but the light is very different so the sand is brown not orange.

Hi Andrzej,
Long shadows look great on this and there's no doubt that the best time to shoot here is when the sun is low. Glowing orange colour and massive sweeping dune lines. Is that a person or a shadow? Excellent detail anyway.

Amazing composition with an excellent color balance. The silhouette is rather showing us how insignificant one can be in front of those giant dunes. Great shot.
