Photographer’s Note
One of the dead acacia of Dead vlei in Sossussvlei in the Namib desert. Those trees died 500 years ago but as there is pretty no humidy in this place, they did not go rotten and so are still present.
They are many of them in this dry lake and so they are forming a dead forest.

Bonjour Yves,
Amicalement

Hi Yves,
Just perfect minimalistic composition: great colors (ocre and sky), and excellent photo quality. Congratulations. I agree with Eric about the contrast for an even more dramatic view. TFS

Bonjour Yves,

Bravo.
Pascal.

Hi Yves,
Nice composition of soft colours. I like very much this black tree and his shadows over the white sand.
Good work.
Congratulations.

Hi Yves, something hauntingly peaceful in your composition. The starkness of the tree blends well with the sand dunes against the filtered white clouds. The colours muted and neutral adds to your pov and perspective. TFS and visiting.

Hi Yves,
The composition here is very amazing, and you capture the mood here perfectly.
The color does seem like it could be better, so I attempted a workshop, I hope it helps.
Nice work, thanks for sharing!

Hello Yves. Like the next photo (in Algeria), this has a very strong composition with the three bands of colours. It's an impressive photo, with an excellent POV, a very interesting sky, and that acacia balancing everything. I like the "washed" colour because it represents the sandy wind of the desert. I guess the luminosity is a problem when taking shots here, but it's perfectly solved.
Take care
