[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a photo from above the Elim dune which is located in the Namib desert, Namibia.

I changed a little bit the contrast and put that white frame with the location description on it.

What I like about the picture is that smooth sand drift which lets the tree in background appear a little bit blurry.

I'm not sure if Erongo is the right state. Could anyone confirm that. I'm also not sure if Swakopmund would be trhe nearest city. I mean it's about 10 years ago ;-)

Wonderful, glorious colors, especially the little strip of orange higher up. The wisping sand certainly adds a flavor and action...Nicely exposed with the tree almost in silhouette.

Very nice composition Kevin with good colors. I am going in Africa in november and I hope that I will have lot of beautiful photographs to take like this one.

Quite a defining shot, so typical of the moving sand dunes and the Namib in general. The drifting sand sand adds movement to the image, which is good. The composition is good and the colours are wonderful.

Very nice. The colours and the moving dust that appears, gives alive view in an environement that seems mostly dead;.
