I had the chance to go to Namibia in July 2004 and to visit some of its nicest places.

This picture was taken from a little Cessna that took us from Swakopmund to Sossuvlei, this part of the desert of Namib which is said to have the biggest dunes in the world.

It's something to fly over the desert in a huge Boeing plane, it's something else to fly over the desert in a little 5-passengers little Cessna!

A 90 minutes flight. One of my best souvenirs from Namibia. The price was worth it!

We flew over Walvis Bay, a town situated on the ocean shore, between the Atlantic Ocean and the desert of Namib. Namib dunes are just behind. Just a road is separating the town from the desert.

Salut Emma
C'est Walvis Bay ou Sim City ? Vraiment interressant !

Hello Emma,
This is amazing,
very well composed and seen, plus this is a view of a place I had always seen in the map but had no idea what it looked like. Its quite an eye opener,
very well done,
Regards
Daniel

Hola Emma :

Saludos,

Jesús.

Hi Emmanuelle,
Very interesting aerial shot! I didn't know Namibia could have such modern homes, or is it a westerners neighborhood? Good quality, and composition.
Happy new year!
Skye
