| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Note? what note?..
It used to be a wildebeest.
I want to thank Dennis (Dpbours) who in his workshop to one of my recently posted photos showed me how to work with image mode options. Here I played with quadtone, and I like the result.
Dennis, this is what Trekearth is for: to learn photography through sharing travel pictures. Thank you very much. |

Hi Olga,
This is a tremendous share about death and how it works very well together with its counterpart: "the life".
I am used to seeing lonely skulls on desolate lands, but together with the rest of the body, especially with hairs, is so rare to find. Your sephia treatment is very nice. A striking photo indeed.
Cheers,
Deniz
Hi Olga!! what a dramatic picture!!
The skull and some skin still on the bones, terrible - but this is Africa!!
Brava , well done!

Hello Olga,
Hurray!! :-D
Yes, very nice! A nice contrast, good difference between the lighter and darker tones. The slight slight brown/black makes it a bit more old-feel without become too soft like sepia often does!
If you look on the internet, you can find very interesting profiles to load as quadtone! One example you an find here!
Greetings!
Dennis
Quadtone works very well for this picture. Good use of black and white. I don’t think it would looks so good in color.
