Water-colours in Damaraland – second painting -

These pictures are not perfect but they make me think of water-colours. I like them. What about you?
Without doubt, Damaraland is one of the most fascinating part of Namibia. To begin with, it shelters the Highest Mountain of the country (Königstein – 2573 m.). It is there, as well, that one can see some of the most interesting geological landscapes. In Twyfelfontein, a few 3000 years old rock drawings can be seen. Unforgettable, the enormous vertical bloc of basalt, called “the organe-pipes”. A petrified forest of more than fifty trees is equally to be mentioned. Moreover, in that part of the country, fauna and flora are to be discovered.
The purpose of my pictures is to show some of the marvellous landscapes of the region. The fences shown are the boundaries between the different concessions. Some of the latter offer lodgings when needed. Wild life can be seen there: Impalas, elephants, giraffes, zebras and lions coast along.

Oooh quel potentiel pour la photo ce genre de paysage! Des couleurs pastel et des lignes pures... sans aucun fil électrique ;-)... un rêve.
Je ne peux pas cacher que le bruit, le manque de netteté et la petite taille de la photo sont décevants... est-ce une diapositive scannée ? Si oui.. je pense que tu devrais pouvoir obtenir des résultats plus convaincants sans trop de difficulté ni de dépense.

I like these colors too. Composition is very good and the format you have chosen is very proper. Congratulations for this shot.

Superbe panorama où l'on voit bien l'immensité et le grandiose du pays, grâce sans doute aux lignes qui nous renvoient à l'infini. Une image qui pourrait être amélioré avec un logiciel de reduction de bruit (Neatimage ou autre)

je vais continuer dans mon appréciation : J'aime beaucoup le format panoramique qui permet de faire ressortir un bel équilibre entre les teintes du sol et du ciel. Les montagnes viennent couper agréablement ce paysage. En ce qui concerne le bruit, moi je trouve qu'il donne un excellent côté "peinture" à cet ensemble. Bravo.

Great scenery this one! I like this endless view, the road leading to somewhere and that little fence is a fantastic detail.I like the format and the colours also!

Je viens de trouver ça dans tes "randoms" : miniature peut être, mais sûrement pas d'un mini espace ! quelles étendues, c'est impressionnant - et le format de ta photo le rend encore plus suggestif !
