[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The San form a community which takes care of eachother - their bond is very strong. They preformed a healing dance for us. Just to show the ceremony. Normally they only do it for real when someone is ill. The women sing and clap ther hands, the men walk around them, stamping their feet, in a hypnothising rithm. This goos on until they get into a trance. We've spoken to some antopologists who studie them and they really are capabale of things that are not "normal", like cutting themselves. Its a kind of "out of body experience at what thime they can see the descease and cure it. Believe it ore not...

Critiques [Translate]

You bring wonderful images to TE Saskia. I congratulate you even as I welcome you. I came upon your work while browsing the gallery today and then found this photo while looking through your portfolio. The camera you use is one generation older than the camera I was using when I came to TE. Sony, with the Zeiss lens, produces fine images.

I've done a workshop on this image for your consideration. I thought it would help to tighten the composition a bit. See what you think by clicking on the Workshop link to the right of my name.

I'd mention to you that the best way to call attention to your work is to take the time to comment on other people's photos. There are so many images passing through TE, that it is challenging to get attention. But when you critique other's photos, they will naturally check out your portfolio. You may not wish to take the time to participate more fully, but I can assure you, if you do, you will enjoy the process. Have fun and thanks again.
