Charming portrait, Saskia. I love your tones here, and the centered composition is always a good choice for children with interesting and lovely faces.
Very warm, good compo and well timed.

Saskia,
Welcome to TE!
I like the low, warm light on their faces. It is a nice direct photo. Nice work!
Very cute and touching image! The childrens' expressions are really great and the colours are incredible!!

Hi Saskia,
Outstanding portrait; your shot really tells a story. The main theme is the wide-eyed curiosity of the younger, the greater suspicion of the older. But there are many seconday themes, their dusty bodies tell of a dirth of water and the proturberant belly looks like there may be protein malnutrion. The grass hut in the soft background is a masterful touch. The golden light of evening casts a magical glow over all.
Regards, Pat
