I don't know if those zebras really suffered from a dryness... Zebras in Etosha always seemed fat, grazing, busy, maybe - even happy.
Those paid no attention to me, although I (violating the rule of Etosha, I must confess, for which I am sorry) got out of the car to shot them with this desolate environment on the background.
With those zebras, I will move on with my travelogue further into other Namibian place of interest. I will keep posting animals from Etosha on my TN-account.

Hi Olga,

I just love it! Thanks for sharing.

Saadet

un beau panorama avec de belles couleurs chaudes...
j'aurai peut-etre preferé un cadre symetrique mais les gouts se discutent...
tres belle composition inspirant la quietude

Terrific composition, Olga. Those zebras do look exhausted, befitting the arid landscape. Will check out your TN pics.

Hi Olga
Yes, the zebras look fat. They seem to not have any trouble with the dryness surrounds them. This creates a good contrast in your picture. A very good composition. I especially like the dead tree which, somehow, becomes the focal point of the dry area. Wonderful clouds in the sky too. They add another gloom atmosphere to the picture.
Well done
Toby

olga

fantastic image. The savage landscape and animals, the dead tree say many about the place too. Very nice compo. I think it isn't so nice about contrast but I think the light was this way

Hi Olga,
This is a excellent image reflecting the absolutely natural, open environment. The Etosha landscape is full of natural beauty and wildlife, and this photo does real justice to that beauty. I like the panaramic format is it gives us a greater impact of open spaces. Very well done.
Cheers Grant

Hi Olga,

Amazing shot. B&W Zebra against blue sky is amazing. Huge space, I can feel the space. Its really one of your best.

Hello Olga,

Haha, they walk like they are on their way to the slaughter house! They don't seem awfully happy, but surely fat enough to me!!
Hmm, I'm not a big fan of the frame. It un/im-balances the photograph itself a bit. But well, just my feeling ;-).

Have a good weekend!
Dennis
