Another picture taken from a flight above the Namib desert, which is next to the Atlantic ocean.

Here you can see a herd of seals, which can be seen not far from Walvis Bay harbour.

In Namibia, there is another place, which is even most famous to observe seals. It's called Cape Cross. You can find more information on this page.

Bonjour Emanuelle,

Very nice shot with a very distinct POV.

If I am not mistaken, in Spanish that part of Namibia is called "Costa de los Huesos" ("Cost of Bones"), not only because of harsh dessert conditions but also because of a lot of ship wreckages.

This is certainly a place I wish to visit one day. Your picture has captured the scene and feeling very well. I like the ripple effect of the waves and the seals look like a colony of ants from up here. Great stuff.

Voilà une image très graphique, qui me fait penser à certaines photos de la collection "la terre vue du ciel". En plus comme je ne connaissais pas cette signification du mot seal, je me suis demandé un instant ce que pouvait bien être ces choses noires...
