Oryx at Okaukuejo
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| The beautiful Oryx-Antelope, the coat-of-arms-animal of Namibia, is to find in desert areas all over the country. This picture was shot at the waterhole at Etosha’s Okaukuejo-camp. This waterhole is floodlighted during the night and is a hotspot to watch the thirsty game come and go, very close to it and comfortably - like in a theater. |

Hello Hans,
Ah, the famous waterhole of Okaukuejo: it remembers me some very good view of animals. I was there last year.
Thanks for this nice view of the Oryx. I find it is the most beautiful antelope with its long horns and its black and white face.
The light of the end of the day gives a quiet atmosphere to the scene.
Yves.
