Situated on the eastern side of Etosha, bordering Fisher's Pan, Onguma Game Reserve is one of Namibia's secrets!
Onguma Game Reserve has more than 34,000 hectares of protected land and wildlife.
The nature reserve boasts over thirty different animal species consisting of plains game including kudu, giraffe, eland, oryx, hartebeest, zebra, impala and many more roam freely as well as predators such as lion, cheetah, leopard, being common residents of the area.
We were lucky that night: good sunset light and curious pair of giraffes.

Thank you for sharing this lovely capture of the giraffes! The composition is very attractive, I particularly like the contrast between the dull gray sky and the vibrant colours of the animals. You were very lucky indeed.

People often do not believe that the late afternoon sunshine of Namibia can give such a golden hue. What a pleasure to view. Onguma Game Reserve must be in the direction of Tsumeb then? Best wishes.
