[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Lack of cold storage means that after slaughtering, the meat has to be cut, sold, prepared for food and eaten as quickly as possible.
So beef is not available often, but when there is, there's plenty!
No, we didn't replenish our supplies here.

Not a nice view, for sure. Maybe that's why there'are 94 views and no comment on this photo.
The picture is ugly, like the whole place, but I see it as a document of daily life.
I think it should show also a few people inside.

A realistic picture. I think perhaps you could have given a better angle...IMO, this would have increased the effect on your viewer...however, I do not blame you for not wanting to get closer to the dead animal for that point of view! Perhaps you could have also increased the contrast to make the blood stand out a little better?

You have given me some great inspiration for my next shot! Thank you Kari...

I give you 2 points for this informative piece of work.

Interesting capture of daily life in Namibia, Kari, but I think you should have gone for a lower POV so that you didn't cut off the heads of the meat traders in the background, but still left the dead animal in the botom left hand corner of your frame. Cheers . . . David

It took some courage to place this image on TE.
And that's I value it's content.
Master himself BANYANMAN noticed it and evaluated, then who I am not to do the same.
Bravo kari
