[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A day spent in Etosha Park, in the North of Namibia.

These trees are called "moringa". The place where you can see them is called "spookie woods", which means "haunted woods".

A San legend says that, after having spread all the plants and animals on Earth, God realized he had forgotten the moringa trees. So he threw them and they fell on Earth, their roots heading toward the sky.

Nice picture and interesting note, Emmanuelle. Indeed, those trees seem to be upside down, with their roots pointing the sky.

I also like the greyish sky over the "spookie woods".

Well done!

Tres belle photo Emmanuelle, dans ce pays que j'ai hâte de visiter surtout pour sa faune.Même si ton cliché peu paraître un peu sous ex il met cependant tres bien ces jeunes baobabs en valeur.Amities.Phil

Salut Emma! Ca va?

Excuse me but I cannot concentrate en francais aujourd'hui..:) This has really beautiful pale colours and still very good illumination and good sharpness. You may try and increase contrast just a little as Muhammad mentions. Excellent selection of these fascinating trees and good perspective and pov which have created fine depth in the photo.

Bonne année Emma!
May all your wishes come true!

Chris
