It is quite interesting to see those rock outcrops in the middle of all that sand. I assume that the ocean is nor very far away. Two remarques about the location indicated for the photo. The Okavango, which is an inland delta, is in Botswana and may kilometres away from the Namibian coast. The National Park is called Skeleton (with a “k”) Coast and is part of the Namib Desert.
Also, it would be very interesting to use the photographer’s note space for a little presentation about the Skeleton Coast.

You were very close to the stone and panned it as much as possible which is visible in the barrel distrortion but... it does not, by any means, spoil the photo. I like it very much, indeed. The stone looks like it is a separate 'desert in the desert'. A clever view. I have browsed through your works on TE and it looks you pretty much know what to do with a camera. The D200 pics are awsome and watching them makes me want to switch from D70 sooner, rather than later :-). Wishes, Tom.
