what a great prespective, perfect DOF,and the cropping is terrific!

Nice shot!...
Maybe spots of noises & a little bit oversharpened? It looks like the sand has lost its smooth structure.

Just great! Amazing shot!

interesting, I like this sight and the colors are not badly.

Superbe !
J'adoooooooooooooore !

Simply wonderful. This is what photography is all about, catching something as beautiful as this. Very well done!

Very dreamy, like a mirage. The unrealness of the colours (particularly the sky on the left) adds to the image. Lovely.

Not sure how you managed to upload it five months before you took it... now THAT's unrealness!

Dramatic perspective of dunes. Good work.

great composition but i feel the shot would have been better with a larger DOF.

Very nice, and great texture and color in the sand. I just find the shot to be a touch soft throughout, going to out of focus as you go further back. To do this really well, I guess you would need a very long exposure (narrow aperture), and perhaps that would lead to blurriness from moving sand. I would also be tempted to take this shot from a slightly higher position, looking down slightly so that the horizon doesn't even come into the frame. That is just an alternative, not that it would be any better. Nice work.

The sand looks too hard - like it is cemented in place, it doesn't have the fluid feel that goes with the sand ripples of the sort you have captured. I also think the DOF is not large enough, I want to see the background a bit sharper as well. Still a nice shot but lacks fluidity

Great shot, I just wish the DOF could be a bit deeper.

Nice composition, but I don't like the shallow DOF. A smaller aperature (or better yet, a tilt lens) would help a lot, in my opinion. Otherwise fine.

I wanna go back, I wanna go back ;-) I know my camera got full of sand trying to take a similar shot, but none were worthy of keeping. On the construct side, I can't really add anything. I'll upload "Serrated edge": as you'll see I had the same DOF problem!

While on strict compo terms it's quite nice and well done, leading the eye to the blurred masses (bushes?) in the background which look like sand clouds.
I do not agree on the DOF, looks like you've set up your lens to a wide aperture with a focus falling randomly somewhere between fore and background. I will then suppose, given that there was plenty of light, this is a "genre" photo, but I'm afraid it's overseen (at that point, I'm even wondering whether the foreground wasn't filter blurred on purpose, like many fashion or photoschools shots do).
As well as the overall postshot work seems a bit overcooked : too much contrast, too much sharpening.

Sometimes no genre is better than genre.

Great idea. Love the colours and textures, but agree that the DOF could be deeper.

Nice colours and light. (Late afternoon or early morning). DOF is a problem In landscape photos you need the greatest DOF you can possibly get. (Sharp focus from foreground to infinity).

I really, really love this one !!!!

Quelle dommage,
Belle immage, trop longtemps au four... Resultat brulé

Great shot! Congratulations!!!

The lighting is absolutely fantastic - it really brings out the texture of the sand and the the "ripples" - and the composition is good - I guess you got down quite low to take this and it works well. I'm not so sure about the DoF. It would have been nice if you could see clearly all the way to the back since there is nothing really distracting about the background and I think the effect would have been really great with the converging lines in the sand leading you into the picture.

Amazing shot. Congratulations.

This is a nice shot. The composition is awesome, with the lines running into the horizon. I have to disagree on the depth of field though--I think that a greater depth of field would be better. Maybe f/11 or something in that area? Other than that, colors are great, and of course the composition is great. Thanks for sharing.

I like this kind of photos. Original POV & fantastic color. Congrats!

THE PICTURE IS VERY NICE AND THE COMPOSITION WOULD BE GREAT BUT IT'S NOT SHARP ENOUGH
ALSO IT'S ALWAYS INTERESTING TO MAKE COMMENTS ON THE PLACE, AND THE PHOTO INFORMATION SO THE PEOPLE WHO SEE IT CAN TELL YOU WHAT YOU MAIGHT HAVE DONE WRONG
