If it is not a sunset it is a sunrise. So I like the sun. I'm a true child of Africa. We don't do well without the sun. One day without sunshine and we are all depressed.

This was taken at 5 in the morning. I somehow just woke up and realised that I have to take a photo.

5 min later the glare on the water was so bright that it was impossible to get a proper photo.

I can't decide if the leaves in the front should be there or not. Maybe because I can still remember the whole view with the palm trees. Somebody just viewing the photo without knowing the whole picture might find it in the way???

Critiques [Translate]

Good composition and the leaves are ok but i would be tempted to include a little of the tree trunk.
The colors are magnificent. and the lighting is divine.

I think the photo as is is very nice. Very nice sky colours and the sea is very calm.
Maybe if you had include a litle bit more of the palm trees it would be even better.

I'm very interested in Mozambique so if you have more nice photos please post.

Welcome on TE, Annette! I really like this photo, the colours and light are great, the sky is marvellous and I also think the inclusion of the leaves adds something good to this very good photo!
