Photographer’s Note
Mozambician batik art on display at Maputo's weekly craft market form a frame around some of the merchants who are there selling their wares. Often the merchant is the artisan. They gather at the market every Saturday. During the week, the artists are either at home producing their work, or on the street trying to sell it.
