Ferries constantly cross the channel that separates Maputo and Catembe in Mozambique. Many workers in the capitol city of Maputo live in the fishing community of Catembe.

I like the separation of the people in this photo. Each one seems lost in their own thoughts. You have achieved good quality in this super composition.

I like this well composed photo. The iron railing divides the picture in two parts on a diagonal. In the upper part three persons standing apart from each other wait for the ferry, at the bottom a worker is assisting the crew. The persons are spread out roughly on thirds both horozontally and vertically which makes the composition very harmonious. The quiet and patient attitudes also contribute to this atmosphere.

there are so many lovely and very interesting photos in your gallery and this is one of the most attractive for me. The theme is unusual and the picture very well composed and framed. The people's placements in the scene give a great sense of depth, clarity and lighting are superb. The wooden pier makes an intriguing graphic frame and their placement and postures in reference with it make the composition very strong. You've captured the mood of the moment very well, too. It's a marvelous photo, well done and thank you!
All the best, have a great weekend,

my uncles lived some time in maputo during the colonial times.
I liked the view here, excellent vertical framing catching people well positioned and mixed with the lines of this structure. it would be perfect if you had got the whole man in the foreground. anyway it is a beautiful compo.
