Photographer’s Note
The 'magic hour' produces fantastic light and colours and this photo shows the kind of effect that can naturally occur. This was taken towards the setting sun and also just about shows a couple of local women walking down the beach. Much of the Mozambique i saw was poor and life appeared very difficult, a result of the recent troubled history. However the coastal areas show you another side, driven by tourism and fishing industries.

Hello Martin,
Yes I know quite a bit about Mozambique's difficult past, having lived in Zimbabawe myself during my schoolhood. Most of Africa has experience troubled times, but those difficulties cannot hide the natural beauty that abouts on the African continent. The pink colours of this setting sun reflect a far more tranquil mood to this country, than it has been accustomed to during it's past. I like the inclusion of the two woman....providing the human element to the scene. Well done.
Cheers Grant
