Tofo Dancing
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is a group of Women dancing a National Mozambican dance from the area of Nampula called "Tofo" Dancing. They sing and dance. We heard their singing from afar and looked for where the voices were coming from and finally we saw them walking and singinig through the streets of Ilha and followed them inside this little hall where they finished off their Dance and singing.
I dont know if it's only me but i like the moving effect you get from this picture |

49 people looked at this not 1 had anything to say. Very expressive photo and yes the blur effect works. If you haven't signed up with TL you might consider it. I think you will get more critiques there.
I like the movement in this image which catches the moment and says we are happy and dancing. To have stopped all movement would have removed the life from the image.

A great blur shot that could be used in a travel magazine with no problem. The movement and spirit of the dance is captured well here.
I also like the fact that you got down to get a low POV rather than that of just another pedestrian.
Great Job.
