Hi, Lara, I very much like your subject matter. I think distance from the woman causes the ground, buildings, and tree to compete with them as the subject. Take a look at my workshop edit, and let me know what you think. Of course, this picture suffers greatly from resolution degradation with my crop, but using the original would provide much better results, I am sure.
1) Crop to focus
2) Use Levels to control the blown out highlights and add more warmth and color range.
3) Use Brightness/Contrast layer along with a rectangular inverted center selection to vignette the edges, and further increas the focus on the women.
