Having reached the top of the 250 metres high dune, I just spent some time enjoying the view and taking some landscape pictures. It wasn´t even that hot up there (but maybe it was just beacause it was still forenoon), so it was no problem to stay there for a while. I liked the place really much. I even think the Erg Chebbi desert was the most photogenic place - and one of the most impressive places- we visited during our Morocco trip.
Well, and on my picture you can see a boy jumping down the dune [I did this as well, it was a lot of fun :-)] and in the background a part of the next city called Merzouga.

Hi Jonas,
Very good action shot. What a beautiful, colorful image with great detail. A very very good presentation.
Georg

Olá Jonas, I can see that you all had a good time photographing action shots like this one ;-) The flying effect is funny and it looks that in the dunes the gravity is similar to the moon :)) Good panoramic presentation. I like the trail of sand behind him.

Hi Jonas,

A pretty panorama which gives a beautiful depth to the image. Good timing on this jump which creates an interesting dynamics in the photograph. Beautiful management of the light and the colors are very pleasant. I like this feeling of vastness. Well done Jonas.

With all my friendships and a very good evening,

Jean-Charles

Spaß pur, ich habe mich mal in Frankreich von der Dune du Pilat heruntergekugelt ... Sehr schöne Momnetaufnahme mit guten Farben.
Viele Grüße,
Achim

Jonas,
What a pure joyful image, Perfect timing, froze in mid air. Great DoF, all the way to the horizon. Great sharpness and clarity. Wonderful color of the sand and crystal clear blue sky. Simply beautiful and fun image. Thanks so much for that.

Excellent capture, I like the simple and effective compo, with the play of lines and the focal point of the jumping boy. Well framed.

Such a superb action shot where your subject is frozen in motion. He is well placed in the frame to provide an excellent compo. Well done.

Bonsoir,
belle photo de ce saut de carpe dans le désert.
Belle vue de ce désert qui avec ces couleurs différentes et ces monts au loin donnent une bonne profondeur de champs.

Amitiés Thomas

Hi Jonas,

Hello Jonas
The diagonal of the dune across the frame makes this very appealing. Of course the frozen action of the jump makes this dynamic. Good contrast with the blue sky. I looked at the picture for a long time & what I also liked is the sand rising up due to his jump...looks like a minor volvanic eruption :-). Fine work Jonas!
Best Regards
Angshu

Jonas,
giving sequence to your sand dune shots ...
highly dynamic with that guy having a mega jump down the slope. what makes it really very good is to see the sand left behind in the air. That provides exactly that feeling of movement that so often is done with lines and whirls in cartoons. You got it without that. Nice to have this action so far in the corner and openning the rest of the image for the landscape.
Peter

Hi again Jonas,
I will also go for this one, because it is so funny! Full of life, of happiness. The boy seems to enjoy this place a lot.
In addition, the landscape is really interesting.
Excellent sharpness and beautiful colours.
Regards,
Marianne

Hi Jonas.

This is a really good picture! I really like your composition here and also the placement of the boy is very good. The colours here are great as well! Also good job with completely freezing him in the air.

Good work!

Blair

Ciao Jonas,

che simpatica e divertente questa foto!
Quel ragazzo che ha appena preso il lancio del salto mi fa proprio venir voglia di saltare pure a me su una duna di sabbia!!!

Federica

Hi Jonas.
Thanks for visiting my gallery, it has allowed me to know yours, and it is very interesting. I have chsen this one of Morocco because i have been there last year and this picture remember me my visit to the desert. Really it is one of the better things there, but I had not this good Idea: to jump on the dunes. The picture is very good and amazing and it is very well done; the timing is very very good and tecnically perfect. I love the sand flying under the guy. Congratulations for this shot.
Angel.
