Berber children (Imazighen ) from the village near Azilal (in the Ait Bougemez Valley- the High Atlas).The Imazighen, or free men refuse to use the term Berber. The level of illiteracy of the Imazighen in rural area is extremely high. It is really harrowing.
I asked these kids for their address - nobody in this small village could write.... |

A very lovely portrait. I like the composition of this photo in that you can clearly see the children in the foreground but also quite a bit of the landscape because they're "off center." The colors are quite neutral with just accents of blues and yellows. Very nicely done!
