Hello Greg,
Superb composition of architectural elements. The man is instrumental to show scale here. Stunning quality in B&W, esp. the white tones. Regards,
Hakan

Hello Greg,
A nice composition, with interesting typical architecture. The use of that soft white tones is very interesting and fits the subject and calm atmosphere.
Great shot! Mike

Ciao Greg
interesting work in B/W, precious one, the dark man in contrast with white architecture.
I like your white compo, fine texture on the buildings...
that's Casablanca, just blanca blanca... :))
best regards

Great original post of Casablanca. The little bit of black on the man really makes a strong focal point and the grey & white image. Composition and overall "mood" is excellent. Great idea and execution. Good framing choice to compliment the photo also.
Great work.

this one is really good, the lack of colours emphasise the forms and textures, while the tiny figure lets the viewer appreciate how majestic the building is. I also like depth the several layers of walls and gates create, it really captures the viewers attention. very well seen and presented.
best,
Kristine

Bonjour Greg,
Attractive image. And so much light this time! And such a soft contrast. Certainly, as Freddy already said, you kept that "blanca" mood, maybe by ajusting the contrast lower? It suits very well the atmosphere of mystery around these mighty buildings - the man passing the arches gives us the real scale, just great!

Niiice. Very nice. It was a good call to bring down the tones to pale greys. Really makes the man in the dark jelaba stand out. And it kind of seems appropriate in general, what with all the geometric decoration getting equal billing as a backdrop.
You know, I still regret not having time enough to go see this mosque before had to catch the train out. Unfortunately, the train connected to a bus, so we couldn't decide to go later. Ah well.
pure elegance, greg.
would love to have it hanging on my red/orange wall.

Hi Greg,
i think you have kept the right balance here...the architecture does not overshadow the atmosphere and complements the scale...wonderful...cheers, arturo

Hi Greg
This is awesome, so simple and yet very effective!
I love how the outer parts of the picture is almost absorbed by the frame, hard to see where the picture stops.
And the guy as the only really dark subject in it is so effective.
Harry
