Photographer’s Note
Another mint seller from Fes... He wouldnt accept any money for his photograph which was kind of surprising in Morocco scene.
You can see the pride in his eyes.

merhaba asli,
this portrait is awesome...your model, secretfully keeping her thoughts for herself but unable to hide from us her face full of signs of history...
composition and dof management - very effective...
good one,
best wishes, j.

Hi Asli,
Stunning portrait!
I like so much your close approach and the expression got on that face.
It's remarkable the details and marks left by the time on that skin, and so intriguer that eyes.
Love the DOF and the nicely blurred background.
Congratulations and thanks for share it.
My best regards,
JM

Asli you have done a fine job here..strong composition and nice and close (but not too close). At f 7.1 you will not get a nice background blurring 'bokeh' so you have used a gausian blur to get the effect which helps to 'pop' the subject out of the image. I am more taken by the content of the image than the technique..you have portrayed a proud moment and it shows..good choice of title. Well done
Cheers

I like the blurring as it is, what is really like is the angle in the turn of the head and the intensity caught in the eyes, it give conviction to the pride.
