Photographer’s Note
Very early this morning we started to climb a high dune to watch the sunrise. The dune was less than 1km away from our hotel and about 80m high. Nevertheless it took us more than an hour to get there and we arrived just in time...

Pour une photo de desert elle a au moins le mérite d'être originale en incluant cette paires de chaussures... Que se dit on alors ? J'y vais ? J'y vais pas ?
Une chose est sure... une tres tres grosse gourde il faut avoir... Félicitations...

Hello Ingo,
Your picture is very beautiful, I like this monochrome concept.
It reminds me of cover illustrations on cheap paperback adventure books. But don't misunderstand me, it is great as it is.

Hi Ingo,
Its a simple yet compelling photo that tells a story and emits feeling. i think it would be alot less interesting if you had not caught the glare of the sun the way you did - also, the intrepid traveler is pointed in the right direction in terms of that glare -- his/her posture is perfect and that to me is where i get the most feeling from. its a long road ahead but if we take it just one step at a time......
great post Ingo, take care.
