Photographer’s Note
Shot just around the corner from "Errrrm" in a new shopping area. What I noticed is a lot of the posters are not of Moroccan woman (or men for that) in the advertising. Still he didn't seem to mind.

Hi Mark,
I'm a bit surprised to see this kind of ads in Morocco, specially the righ one... I should make a trip there, maybe I have a false idea of this country.
Good position of the man and capture of the scene.
Maybe a little more contrast? Don't know...

Hi Mark,
Long time no see ;-)
Do you really think you can put a good looking lady from Morocco on a billboard poster? I don't think so, although the country is become more progressive, something like that is still not done i think....do you?
I was 3 years ago in Marrakech and i did not see these billboards, so the country is even getting more open?
Nevertheless, your picture tells the story and looks good.

hi Mark!
u have made a very good capture here. i only wish the man's face was reflected in the glass (though i'm not sure there was any glass over the pictures.)
regards,
Nabarun.

Hello Mark,
Another amusing capture. Some might call it progress, others not ;-) A pretty girl is a pretty girl in anyone's language.

We can not be sure but it seems he is not opposing the European style girls being exposed on the walls of Marrakech. I am seeing the same type of advertisement in some Asian countries too. It is publicity going global or, the globalization of publicity!!! Well done.

hello Mark,
Remarcable for Morocco !!! I also did not expect this kind of advertising there ! The men don't hide their eyes i can imagine. A pitty for the women there that they have to dress different :(

Great level of detail and another good street shot. Like Fred, I'm a bit surprised to see this ad on display in Morocco - obviously more moderate than other Arab nations.
cheers, Leon.

Hi Mark,
These kinds of advertisements seem very out of place in Islamic countries, and I can't imagine many Moroccan women would be willing to be plastered on a billboard wearing nothing but underwear!
These kinds of cultural contrasts can make for interesting images, but there's nothing here to tell us that this is Morocco. With the western clothing of the man, this could have been taken anywhere.
I think if you had waited until someone in traditional Moroccon clothing came along, particularly a woman, the image would have been a lot more succesful.
Cheers,
Ben

Hello Mark! So long that I have been here and am happy to have chanced upon this one :-)))... a great shot and a very funny one at that... even though he seems to be looking at neither bombshells ;-)-- but seeing this is from Marocco, am even more astonished...a great capture! I have made a WS shot of bw of it but it seems I cannot upload it...

sasa
