[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
View on Casablanca (Dar El-Baïda in Arabic) where I will be living for the next couple of years.

It was taken from the roof of the Sacré-Coeur cathedral, where my friend and I climbed after visiting the exhibition (on the history of Casablanca regions, going back from millions of years ago) that was taking place inside. The cathedral is no longer used for religious celebrations.

It offers an interesting view on the city : the "Parc de la ligue arabe", the roofs of the town (where you can see hundreds of receive dishes that the Moroccan install to receive cable television), and up to the Atlantic Ocean.

Très bon cardage sur la ville de Casablanca et belle perspective, belle vue du Sacré Coeur..!

Bonjour Emmie,
Voici donc ta toute première photo du Maroc. Et j'espère qu'il y en aura beaucoup d'autres! ;o)
Ta photo montre bien l'étendue de cette ville où la couleur blanche semble dominer. Cette tour est bien placée sur la droite, mais par contre je ne suis pas trop convaincue par ton cadrage verticale avec une ligne d'horizon qui coupe l'image en parties quasi égales. Je pense qu'un format panoramique aurait été plus approprié. Si j'ai un peu de temps ce soir je tenterai un WS.
