[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
the photo was taken around midday in the middle of High Atlas, on our way from Ouarzazate to Essaouira. it was more or less a race against some nasty looking storm clouds that threatened with snow and closed roads. about a week before we were lucky to get to Midelt just few hours before the road through Atlas from Meknes to Midelt was indeed closed, and we were a bit worried if our luck would hold twice. it did.

Hi Kristine,
Wow! This is a majestic mountain and those storm clouds add to the drama. Good clarity, contrast and natural tones. The striations of snow really add something to the photo. Well captured, composed and framed!
Claudia

Hi Kristine,
Welcom to TE...
Very good shot in your beautiful galery, congratulations...!
Here too, excellent point of view, good light and colours.
Great composition indeed..!
Best regards,
Patrick

So much power in this shot. It's hyper crispness gives it a graphic almost illustrative feel. Perfect timing on the capture.

This magnificent view demands to be seen on a much larger scale. Unfortunately, that's not possible on TE. Anyway, a great shot, Avene!

:)

Good constrast and sharp focus to view the authentic surface at peak. Your photo is always be amazed.

Wow! You really captured the moment of the clouds moving in - you really captured the movement of the sky as the clouds come over the ridge in the upper right hand of the shot.

Hello Kristine
I like this type of photo: mountains and... clouds, great light etc. So I like this one too :). Beautiful african mountains with litlle snow on the slopes and lovely cloudy background. Nice contrast at this photo too. Especially I like this fluffy cloud on the right ;).
