Photographer’s Note
View of Casablanca in the morning. The photo was taken at 7:31 AM.
On the right - Hassan II Mosque with it's 210 meters tall minaret. It looks close, but in fact this photo was taken from about 3.5 kilometers away - that's the effect of 200 mm zoom.
Camera settings: P mode, ISO-200, +0.3 EV exposure compensation.
Raw conversion settings:
Color temperature 6400K (to create create warm yellow colors);
exposure compensation -1.25 ( yes, I over exposed this photo a lot... )
shadows 18
brightness 55
contrast +50
saturation +16
After conversion from raw only resizing and sharpening was done.

Hi, Linas,
This is lovely. I particularly like the way the morning light is just beginning to catch diffrent areas of the shot. Great job on the details, too! Very nice!! TFS,

Very crisp image considering the distance and light.You clearly are experienced manipulating light and colour.
(I've never experimented with RAW images yet so the conversion possibilities are still a bit of mystery to me.)
