Photographer’s Note
The Lighthouse at Cap Spartel - The Northwesternmost point of Africa, where you can see the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean Sea hitting the dark blue Atlantic Ocean. Built in 1864 by Sultan Mohammed III it flashes four times every 20 seconds over a range of 30 nautical miles ever since. Britain, France, Italy and Spain paid to maintain the square 79 feet high yellow masonry tower until Moroccan independence in 1956. The 20 miles drive up to it is stunning. Once you leave Tangiers, you'll find the air is tinged with pine and Eucalyptus scents. The views are stunning with wide and endless sandy beaches... and Europe (greyish stripe) in the background
-------------------------------------------
There were some white stripes of clouds blown by the wind and I thought it will be kind of funny to make them look like coming out of the lighthouse, so I tried to find the right POV. Hope it worked out.
Cheers,
Ben
