you've combined two elements of Essaouira in 1 picture, namely the fortress and the blue boats, and I think that's a good idea. The waves in the distance is a nice touch. However I think it would be better if include more of the boats at the bottom. Also the part of the wall in shadow on the left as well as the wall running horizontally are not terribly interesting, perhaps another angle might work better. Finally, a note about the place is always appreciated.
