Saadian Tombs, a photo from Marrakech, South

Photographer's Note

Alongside the Kasbah Mosque near the center of Marrakech stand many important tombs started by Saadian Sultans at the beginning of the 16th century. Sealed for over 3 centuries, the tombs were rediscovered in 1917, and they have been restored since.: Today they are certainly a highlight among the places to visit in Marrakech. The columns are some of the finest examples of Moroccoan-Andalusian decorative art. This picture tries to show how delicate this art is.

Definitely wonderful delicate artwork. Did you have a chance of taking a close up of a portion of the artwork.

Hi Izzet. Lovely work, rich in texture which is at the same time made more harmonious by the almost monochromatic colouring. Nice PoV. Salamm. Klaudio
