Photographer’s Note
Ssalam 'lekum! Ssalam. We shook hands. He was Omar. Once his wife saw us chatting, she sent her kids to beg for little money, sweets or T-shirts, Omar was more interested in cigarretes. Taking pictures ? No problem. We are friends, aren't we ? I contributed with some little money to help, shook hands and turned to leave. After a while I saw the older son running to reach me before I disappeared from his sight. He brought me a plastic bottle full of goats milk. A "thank you" from his mother. Poor however nice and kind people living in peace. Ssalam 'lekum!

Yes, I knowe that field, rightside on the road from Mielt to er Rachidia. The contrast - warm welcome (additionaly emphasized by the goat, carried by the father) and cold weather (the snow peaks of the High Atlas and the crossed hand of the boy, also ther thick clothes) is what the photo authentic.
Regards,
Asparuh
