Photographer’s Note
This picture was taken right next to the Bab Boujeloud, from the roof of our hostel, the Cascade, (which in fact is very recommendable).

Hi Bertolt - the totally black surroundings make the minarets stand out reall well, but it may have been better to take it at an earlier hour before it got pitch black to see more details in the sky and the foreground.

Yes ,i recognise the place and the hostel you mention , it is very interesting how you made the composition and the great and clear illumination of the two mosques making those places be absolutely recogniseble , i think one is part of the Bou Inania that's said to be one of the most antique universities in the world . The picture is ok , i know the difficulties about taking a night picture , i tried some from a restaurant just opposite the cascade and is resulted too blurred , so good job Bertolt !
Saludos y espero que tu estancia en España te haya resultado interesante!

Hi Bertolt,
These minarets emerging from the darkness make an interesting subject although I'd agree to capthaddock's suggestion to shoot in the blue hour. But I believe too there is more to do here on the framing, the dark parts are too important and I went for a different crop in the attached WS.
Have a nice sunday,
Jean-Yves
