Photographer’s Note
What sort of secret meeting could these boys be having? Are they arranging their next soccer game? Talking about...girls? Whatever it is they're doing, it's probably common to boys pretty much everywhere.
To explain the title for those who aren't native English speakers--a "conclave" is a secret high-level meeting, such as when Catholic cardinals meet to elect a pope.

very brave and consistent composition with enough clutter to suggest an end of market day atmosphere and what to do..perhaps some fun in the jma'l'fna square.
count the bikes...:)

We will never know but I go for soccer ... a little too young for girls but nowadays ... things change. Wonderful picture.

This brings back some boyhood memories. The colour is very nice, with the warm reds and pinks. The composition is good too, with the bicycles on one side and the boys on the other and behind. Well done Ken!

Bonjour,
les couleurs de cette photo sont sublimes, le cadrage parfait puisqu'il met les enfants et leurs secrets (!) au dernier plan. Bien vu

The bikes, the boys, the lettering on the wall (graffiti?)--it all makes for an interesting photo, Ken. I am indeed intrigued by these boys. The very nice tones and colors in this photo add to the interesting mood.

That's what I call a nice Daily Life photo. You have the street, the bikes, kids in "conclave" and a big sign in Arabic saying "Peeing Prohibited" :)
One of the kids look like he is peeing. Maybe the other two are covering him and make it look like a conversation? ;)

Great live scene. The place, the colors.
"Peeing" version of FIREFLYZ somehow fits my guess.
The pic has something that grabs your attention right away.
(that wooden skid - the only one minor flaw of this marvel)

Great shot, Ken. I'd like to think that the three big bikes in the front (OK, there's a small one too, but I only noticed it later) belong to the boys. I can see them riding around Marrakech, standing up because they can't reach the seat.

Reacting a bit late to what you wrote about my photo with similarities : you are right and I'm happy to have discovered this one, I like this kind of shots but yours is a bit more optimistic, specially if it comes from beautiful Marrakech !
The 3 bicycles add an impression of movement, as if the 3 young friends had just dropped them to plot something together... Nice little tableau !
Best regards,
Cath.
