Photographer’s Note
Moulay Idris is a small town near Meknes. It is considered a holy city and is a place of pilgrimage for Moroccans. The town is built on the hills and it's narrow twisting lanes are full of colorful walls and doors. This photo was taken just near the main square.

a lovely postcard ! even though the man's head is cut, I like the way you have framed the image. I can feel the effort in the man's expression, as if he's the one carrying the sheep on his back.

Hi Emily, glad to see you post again. A great photo. I love the expresion of the man. Nicely compossed (or cropped). It looks like a classic travel photo. I think it could be sharpened a little bit but other then that it is great! JP

Hy Emily,
I like your composition for showing us this man at work, but it just lacks a bit sharpness. The picture is so 'crowded' with all those elements, I like that feeling, as if the man and his donkey were overwhelmed too - and sure they are, in a way.
The only thing I don't really agree with is that big white frame. Well, frames are always a matter of personnal choice, but here, in the upper left corner it seems to empty for me... too close the the sky colour, and thus enphasizing the lack of sharpness feeling. Just a personnal idea, but maybe a thin black line would have helped, don't know.
but except from this, I like it !
Cheers, Youssef.
