There are two diffrent types of kasbahs, the kasbah of the western Islamic world and the Berber-style kasbah.
Here in the background you see the Berber-style kasbah, which is, a rural as well as urban fortification. This is most commonly found in southern Morrocco, particularly in the Dades Valley. The Kasbahs were usually errected by some local potentate in order to give protection for his small garrison.
It is interesting to see that these building were build using what was available in the region, thus being 100% enviroment friendly. Due to their high maintenance expenses, most are ledt to ruin and people prefer to build modern buildings.
In the contrast the rusting car is just another human invention to pollute this world.

This was taken in the same place as this one

Hi Bala
Nice detail of the car with the car behind. Nice contrast of colours. Is it the same car as the donkey picture?
Cheers
Daniel

Hi Bala,
I like your image. Great colours!
Nino

Superb framing, color...moody, abandoned feeling, bits of reddish desert in the distance. Really a wonderful (movie-like) scene here, Bala. I love this. Your note is equally good and to the point. Well done! Francis

Hello,
bonne photo avec un point de vue original.
La couleur de la voiture va très bien avec le reste de l'image.
Beaucoup de détails de cette vieille carcasse attaquée par la rouille.

Very intereting idea, Bela, and the car, although a pollutant, is rich in character and symbolism. A nice idea and well put together. Regards Kevin.

Unusual composition but it works somehow..
i like this strong green, makes it quite dynamic in a funny way.. (Its quite striking, this is why maybe..)
You have a strong statement here, - which i really like..
cheers.(green tomorrow)

Nice shot Bala. Combo of retro-chic and decay and exotic lands. My only little wish would be a human presence of some sort (like a hand on the hood.

alex

cool shot. unusual composition and colors.

Interesting and remarkable image, Bala! The old car against the older structures is a fine counterpoint and balances well in photo and in mind. Nice work!

this is so cool Bala..i like how u divide the frames.. with such colors.. this car adds more to the picture.. who told only a car can not be a good composition?

this is cool because i thing u have kept your subject in out of focus.
