Streets of Marrakech (III)

Walking by the medina of Marrakech, I found this pretty street protected of the sun by this structure of canes.
The smoke of the food that left the house and the light that entered between the canes, both together, were producing this beautiful effect.
The life continued passing calmly, while these men were waiting for someone to buy some vegetables.
Without disturbing, as the first man was sleeping, I tried to capture the feelings of the moment.

The reason:
Take your life with more calm and enjoy much better each little moment!

Very cool, really like this photo, the streaks of light are superb, given the fact the light conditions were pretty hard you came out with a very good result. Perhaps underexposing it a bit could be an improvement, but like it regardless, has a nice debth.

Very pretty street scenery! I've never seen sunbeams so 'beamy'...
Too bad those guys are sleeping and can't see how beautiful their surroundings are.

Nice photo. The shadows, dust and sun penetrating into the street gives an impressive view. It is a difficult shot since the contrast between max and min light is very high. Nevertheless, you suceeded in having the image clear enough to see all details in the picture.

Hiya Jaume, makes you feel like your actually walking through the lane & smelling the food, love the light off the smoke, have tried to take many shots like this, never really worked this well... very nice capture!

Jaume, esplèndida foto !! es veu un ambient màgic amb els efectes de la llum, i tot i la dificultat de les zones amb diferent llum, el fons del corredor es pot distingir molt bé.
El detall que estiguin dormint ... una passada.
Es veu una mica de gra a les parts fosques de la imatge, però no te cap importància ja que penso que ho escanejes, oi?
És esplèndida, de debó.

Hi Jaume, beautiful photo, you have captured a wonderful atmosphere in this picture. The heavy smoke, the shadows, the people and the penetrating light convey such a great feeling, it's like being there on the spot and watching all these; only the scents are missing. Well seen and done!

Hola Jaume !

Now I have a bit more time, and I wanted to go through several of your pictures of Morocco (and Anakin's as well).

This one is a great start !
Usually the atmoshpere in those street are great, and the light as well. As you had it here with the smoke is even a better effect !

Really well done ! It definitely goes to my favorites. Have you tried the same kind of picture in Fes ?

I think the reason the light was captured so well was some kind of smoke in the walkway, right?

Muy bien Mani, as captado un bonita estampa con una interesante y original compo con las luces y demás. Muy bien vamos aprendiendo sigue así :o jejeje
Y pensar que estuvimos respirando toda esa contaminación, porque recuerdo las motos pasar por ahí dejando atrás todas estas estampas de humo contaminante y así dando un distinguido sabor a la comida que tenían colgada para vender, todo un condimento lleno de sabor...

A love the threads of light. The is an extremely atmospheric shot, the various people lined up on the right all engaged in different activities adds to the ambience.

Hi Jaume = very nice light rays, thank african dust for that. Excellent job, bikes lined up at one side, people at the opposite side. It looks like a tourist (with white shoes) almost walked into the light and ruined the photo!

It is a wonderful light, that you managed to capture very well. The scene is very readable, though the difference of intensity of the light n the different parts of the picture. It is very well done

Wow Wow Wow! Lovely moment frozen in time. The fine streaks of light are obviously the the most attractive element in this capture. But the goings on of daily life around seemingly oblivious of this beauty is the highpoint here for me. Well done

A real prize, Jaume. The rays of light are stunningly portrayed and the timing was soperfect in capturing as well the quiet scene of people sitting - the figure in the foreground appears to be dozing. The bicycles and shadows further enhance. A fabulous capture. Well done.
