[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The tannery itself is breathtaking in both sight and smell. The stench from the vats punches you in the face long before you actually see the courtyard. It makes one’s eyes water just to imagine that there were 200 of these tanneries in the medina back in fifteenth-century Fez. Now there are only two, where young men toil with pungent hides inside a lethal cocktail of dyes, urine, pigeon dropping and a dash of quicklime, for roughly US$7.50 a day.

Hmm, I will keep my work! A very interesting picture, I never saw something like that. Good note too.

Excelent Note and good overall picture. I like the tones and colours. Just seems that there's some noise. But very good job.

Regards,
Mario

Hi Jose,
Good angle to take this shot, good colors and sharpness, interesting with these two men to give a nice daily life photo. And the odour ... a good remember ;-)

Another great view of this impressive place. As I wrote in your previous post, it's very interesting to me. With this shot I can see more details. Very informative notes! Thanks for sharing!

Regards John

There are so many things I love in this phot, Jose - Thehigh POV is very effective and helps ud to see the pools in a beautiful pattern, the dfferent hues of eart colors (especially this red one on the right, and the way they chat during their work. It is so beautiful.
