We found this shack on the Atlantic cliffs near Dahkla. It's in Western Sahara, which is a disputed territory in the Maghreb region of North Africa, bordered by Morocco to the north.
It was the home of a fisherman, who sold us an enormous fish, which made him very content as he did not have to go to the market that day.
We probably paid over the odds, but it was worth it as the fish was delicious cooked on the barbecue.

I like the monochromatic palette of this photograph, and it certainly succeeds in insisting on the arid and harsh nature of the area. I'm glad you bought his fish: I wonder if you could have included the fisherman in the shot. Or maybe that's another photograph...
