This man was delivering coca cola and other beverages, but was having trouble controlling his transportation. Who can blame the poor beast though for being uncooperative with such a heavy burden to pull.

An amusing shot that also tells something about life here. The red crates help the cart to stand out against the BG. Excellent exposure and sharpness with interesting light and shadow detail. Very well seen and taken.
Kind Regards, Ann

Hello Wanda - A sight quite alien to my western eyes but one that is both charming and amusing. Is this a donkey or a mule? The animal is very definitely stubborn! Heavy work in the hot sunshine for this poor beast of burden. A super DL shot with perfect timing and wonderful expressions both on the man's face and on the animal's. The mule's feet are terrifically captured, I can see them literally digging into the road. Nice job. Warm regards Rosemary

Hi Wanda. The image reminds me of many scenes I witnessed in my recent trip to Morocco where donkeys and mules were overloaded, sometimes carrying their owners (see my photo from Morocco)who were much larger and heavier that the animal itself. These creatures are the "engines" that move many rural parts of the country. One day they will disappear for good as they have in Croatia and i ask myself is that a good thing, for in many cases the donkey was like a member of the family. Yes they work hard, but so do the humans in eking out a living. I suppose with the demise of the donkey will follow the demise of many trades and jobs. A well timed photo. The man seems to be coaxing the creature with words and not using a whip. Regards. Klaudio.

Une voiture de livraison "couleur locale" que tu as très bien mise en image.

I think this is a mule and not a horse, hence the title of the photo. Mules are hybrid of a donkey and a horse, and donkeys are notorious for their stubbornness. Nicely caught moment with good background which tells a story for itself. Good work. Perhaps, the trolley is just overloaded and its not the mule (or donkey):)
