No Portuguese held similar crossing in solitary or even the tried-just 32 people from around the globe across the Atlantic alone paddled on and only a few have succeeded in without assistance.

Paraguaçu, is the name of the boat, means “immense sea “(it was the name of India Tupinambá ) and intends to honor the pioneers navigators (Pedro Ávares Cabral, in particular), but also the 90 years of the first aerial crossing of the South Atlantic, completed in 1922 by the aviators Gago Coutinho and Sacadura Cabral, as well as the Brazilian people, below extend a hug narrowed with the desire to see relations between the two peoples brothers.
